Receptive

Be like the forces of nature:
When it blows, there is only wind.
When it rains, there is only rain.
When the clouds pass, the sun shines through.

Essential Rings

I will add the Essential Rings to my online shop this Monday at 1 pm, CT.

Every ring is one of a kind and I do not repeat it.

I can cut any ring to fit size 6 to 10. Once I cut the ring to fit you, you’ll still be able to adjust it to fit half a size larger. If you need help calculating your ring size, click here.

Harmony

Einstein’s three rules of work: out of clutter find simplicity. From discord find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity
— John Archibald Wheeler

Multiplicity

I appreciate a symbol that evokes many things at once: a figure with open arms, an hourglass, the core of a flower, an owl. My mind is engaged, passing from one figure to the next, until it remains still and present.

Duality

Today I donated blood for the first time. 450 milliliters that barely made it through a small vein, can now help four strangers heal. The experience made me think of how connected we are. My strength brings health to another, while their vulnerability makes me value my health. All of us joined together to live a better life.

Essential Ring

As a young girl, I used to sit in my mother’s bedroom and look through her books of African art and textiles. There was no Internet back then, and TV shows were scarce. The images I saw seeped into my mind, and now come out as rings or paintings, symbols of a young dreamer on a couch, imagining a world that expanded beyond the hills around her. Memories of women in desert huts, who painted and wove and lived a life so different, yet similar in essence to what mine has become.

Offering

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea.
— Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Connection

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship

Renewal

Every now and then a new element appears in our life. It could be a place, a friend, a book, or a gemstone. Something that sparks new joy and makes us see life in a different way. These are treasures. They awaken a part of ourselves that had not been seen, heard or acknowledged. Amplified and expanded, we are no longer the same.

Heirloom

I haven’t written in a while, and I miss going to the place within me where I discover how I perceive life. When I don’t write, I get cut off from my inner eyes, the ones that see with all my senses, the ones with which I navigate the depths of my experience.

In that space where my writing is born, I embrace the full cycle of life and death. I face those parts of me that have ended, and I witness those that are born.

One day, no one will remember me. I am part of the chain of lives that are passing through. My longings on this path seem ephemeral, but I write them down to engage with myself and to hold my heart like a precious stone for as long as I am here.

Each One of You

You have showered me with love and commission requests on this 11th anniversary. Thank you for filling my creative path with joy! I am thrilled to re-connect with you individually, see which pieces warm your heart, and learn what they mean to you.

Getting back to each one of you will take time, as I want to offer you the best options to create your favorite pieces. This may include pictures of gemstones, measurements, drawings, etc. Rest assured: I will get back to ALL of you.

This is a recent commission of a pendant that was inspired by a ring.
